With Hermes cIOS v2 installer I succesfully installed:

cIOS 222 -> IOS36
cIOS 223 -> IOS37 Merge With IOS36

Whenever I try loading any game with either of them 2 on USB Loder GX I just get a black screen.
In the installation it says I succesfully installed it all and ended with "Done" for both
I once had cIOS 222 Working but then I reinstalled because I thought it was solve a different problem (which i was newbier at the time) which it didn't, but yeah I reinstalled it with all the exact same files and it says done but now i get a black screen.
Why? Anyone know a fix.

    thats not a bad deal for a laptop actually unless you're unlucky and get the bottom spec on everything then its basically a chromebook

    Why not just use the original controller you ripped apart? Cool project but seems like a waste. I made my own controller/ fight stick for switch using an Arduino, and even uploaded my code here on a forum.

    Neither 8bitdo controllers nor Old Spice deodorants are some priceless relics, and if the guy wants to faff around let him.

  • Veho @ Veho:
    The point is "cramming a controller into a deodorant stick" and not "making the best possible controller".
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    True I guess, to each they own. I know I've made some projects in the past that are cool to me, but others are like wtf.
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Generally most of the "let's cram stuff into other stuff" projects are learning experiences, they're not meant to result in an actually useful product. But you learn a lot.

    Once you've done a few of those, building something actually useful will come much easier.

    I made myself a soundboard handheld w amplified speaker and 3d printed a case with 10 buttons. Loaded it with bird sounds. I sit on my porch alot and use it to talk to the birds, and they respond back to it. I think its cool but wifey thinks I'm crazy.

    What is otaku?
  • Veho @ Veho:
    A Japanese term for nerds who are obsessed with one particular interest even more than their fellow nerds.
  • Veho @ Veho:
    And that's coming from a culture where perfectionism and obsession is the societal norm.

    So when they call someone "obsessed" you know it's serious.

    So anyway Miyazaki was saying how so much of modern anime and manga was being made by shut-ins who grew up on anime and have never interacted with human beings, so all they know is tropes.
