Sega's gravest mistake was not seeing the sheer and utter success of their most monumentally important video game, and failing to produce a big-budget sequel to it immediately.
I am, of course, talking about Sonic CD - the best game ever made. Instead of producing a sequel to this revolutionary spin on the Sonic formula, they pandered to the lowest common denominator and made a sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog 1 instead.

Also, they won't put the Sonic OVA on Blu-ray. That's a crime and they deserve to fail for that alone

They should of fixed issues with the saturn's hellishness to code for and made it easier, they could of also stayed alot longer if they put a DVD drive into the dreamcast, pretty great controllers as well, sturdy and no drift cause they were designed like that (They also put some of this tec into the saturn's newer controllers as well)

Not to be grammar nazi or anything, but

here in this forum talk about the history of sega and how it could have been drieffent

Shouldn't be go like that Here in this forum talk about the videogame history of Sega and how it could have been different?
Anyway jokes aside.
32X should have been cancelled and had most of its launch titles moved to the Saturn.
Including Sega/Mega CD one of Sega Genesis/Mega Drive hardware add-ons.

Speaking of what if companies likewise Sega never entered software business, but never quitted hardware business.
Probably Sonic the Hedgehog,Jazz Jackrabbit(third videogame installment)those games wouldn't be like never cancelled.

Who knows maybe videogames genre of Streets of Rage(Beat 'Em Up-kickboxing),Gunstar Heroes(Shoot 'Em Up)would way much more popular than these days, nowadays likewise in case of Fortnite(Battle Royale),PUBG.

Sooner or later I think Amiga/Commodore 64 would make as company its own videogame console likewise in case of Microsoft Xbox(symbolical evolution). Probably Amiga would have more in common with Microsoft.

You know what, the Dreamcast would've been a success if they had a Jack Jazzrabbit game on it.. No vs. Fortnite tho 🤷🏻‍♂️
