long-time lurker here. I need to kindly ask to fix a broken download link in a specific thread, but I can't reply because: "You have insufficient privileges to reply here".
Can anbody please help?

Is the thread you mean part of a group? In this case you have to join the group before posting.

In case you can't reply to threads in the main forums you should contact a supervisor.
