How am I supposed to update my emuNAND? I tried installing it using FBI and nothing worked there. So I tried installing BBM to install the CIAs for 9.2 and the issue is that BBM is not appearing on my home screen. Neither is savedatafiler.

Here is the error I get when trying to install the 9.2 CIAs with FBI:

    Install failed!
    000400100021400.cia
    Could not install app.
    Raw Error: 0xd8e0806a
    Module: AM <0x20>
    Level: Permanent <0x1b>
    Summary: Invalid argument <0x7>
    Description: Invalid signature <0x6a>

I do not have a Gateway. I'm currently using rxtools.

I presume the error I am getting is because the CIAs I am using are signed. Is there any way I can bypass that and update my emunand via rxtools?

but if you use rxtool in old 3ds, you can use last fw in emunand you only need enter in options (in emunand) to update your emunand

How are you going about trying to update the emunand? You are supposed to load rxmode via the browser exploit or ninjahax and then once you are in rxmode make sure you see RX3D follwed by your firmware number. If you see RX3D then you can update making sure NOT to leave the setting menu by going to other settings > system update.

Browser --> Going to the RXTools site so it launches --> Waiting till the 3DS resets in rxmode

That was the process I was using. So right now, when I go into my System Settings, I see RX3D 8.1.0-12U. Now how do I go to 9.2 from here?

if you are in your emunand need stay in RX3D8.1.u (this is the most important because if you are in sur sistemnand you lost cfw if nand be updadte) only enter in options and find update and up date to last ofw in emunand

Wouldn't that update take my emunand to 9.9 though? I'm looking to get onto 9.2 and/or be able to have the ability to install CIAs like Savedatafiler so I can modify Pokemon.

in other words, it is safe to update your emunand not lose anything by saying this is a modified so as not to miss anything if you take her to version 9.9

Are you installing CIA in emunand or sysnand? Meaning, are you installing before or after turning on rx mode?
