I installed the EUR cia of the Nintendo Anime Channel and i launch the region free patcher to run the app but every time I load it up I get the error code 022-5548. Is it that I need to change the region of my emunand?

There's most likely some GeoIP checking in place, like what Netflix and Spotify use. If that's the case, you'll need a European proxy of some kind.

It may also check the country on your NNID (which you stupidly must have to use this...)
