Hello,

I hacked my switch on Wednesday and for the most part it went well. My only issue was that some .nsp's failed to install using goldleaf with the error: an error occurred attempting to install the nsp:," then it said something about it could be the wrong sig patches.

I downloaded the newest ones from here "https://github.com/Joonie86/hekate/releases" and couldn't find much information about how to install them. However it does say that copying them to the root of your SD card should be enough, so I did that.

I backed up my bootloader and atmosphere folder first, and when I booted it back up it went through the initial atmosphere boot process, but then it gave me this (see picture):

I restored the original atomosphere and bootloader folders, but it didn't make a difference. I'm still seeing the error in the screenshot. Anyone have any thoughts?

remove any themes you have on

Thank you very much. I deleted the "0100000000001000" folder and when that didn't work I deleted the themes folder on the root of the SD card. When that didn't work I replaced the entire atmosphere folder. That did work.

Is there an easier way to go about deleting themes?

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
