Man I just keep getting shit from my Wii lately.

So, I have a LOT of wiiware games on my sd card and none of the original wads. Whenever I check the channels on the sd card from the Wii it freezes. How can I fix this problem without deleting all of my games? I don't even know where to start with this one

I'm going through my files and picking out the ones I don't know

so far I found folders with these codes I don't know what they are, "aktn", "EAJE"

I'm looking at the save backup guide on gamefaqs and it says all folders that start with W are wiiware N for N64, H for Wii channels, and R for regular Wii games which are saves I guess.

There's nothing about E or that strange lower case folder that starts with a

that's what I thought but I'm certain I removed it. Without being able to check it from the wii it makes it more difficult.

What's the folder name for bannerbomb?

Ok I think I fixed it. I got rid of the aktn folder. That was the most suspicious looking one what with the lower case letters and all

thnx. Could swear I deleted it.

holy fucking ballsack I just keep getting bullshit.

I had to delete half of my games from the sd card because they wouldn't load and just had to download them again

I'm in the process of reinstalling them with wad manager but now the goddamn wad manager is freezing.

What IOS do you use to install wiiware because they won't install on 249. I'm going to try 222 that's the one that worked before but seriously if anyone's been paying attention i've posted on this board for the past 5 days each post with a different problem.

I've spent more time trying to fix problems on my wii than actually playing it.

    FUCKING COCKSUCKING HOBGOBLIN!

chose IOS222 and then it gives me an error trying to load the wads from usb. It never fucking ends!

What does that mean? How does it happen?

I've been going back and forth through 249 v14, 15, & 17. How does it happen to all of them all the time.

I just removed 249 and installed v14 and it still froze during wad installation

I never had these problems back on system menu 3.2u

    I'll try

there are too many different ios's to choose from and I didn't want to have to go through each one to see which one would work

If your games weren't loading from SD, it could be that your system menu IOS isn't trucha-patched. Maybe you should do that.

wow, ur problem is u don't have IOS249 installed, u have a stub ios installed... to install the cios249rev17, first delete stub IOS249 using ANY TITLE DELETER, then re-install cIOS249rev17 using IOS36 for installation (if it fails, then u r also missing the trucha bug in IOS36, and u need to perform DOP-IOS's fakesign restorer first)

No only the newer ones I installed because I restore my nand backup from much earlier so the new games would say can't launch on this console

but i've already done that. Guess it wouldn't hurt to do it again

So far the games are installing with ios36

Nevermind....I got about 4 games to install with ios36 but now it refuses to install any more. this is wonderful.

Then I ran GP DOP-IOS MOD, chose to use IOS that accepts fakesigning proceeded to load from sd when I saw the word failed and it brought me back to the loader.

based on my luck with everything else that was a big surprise
