Hacking Help with neogamma

I have tried to load a DVD+R disc with Black Ops on it using neogamma and it does not work. There is this stuff on the web about bitsetting but I don't understand it. My wii is PAL and has a firmware of 4.3. here is a list of what I have done to my wii so far:

1. Installed The Homebrew Channel (HBC) and Bootmii
2. Made a NAND backup
3. Installed a patched IOS236 (Using IOS236 Installer)
4. Installed Priiloader
5. Installed WADs (listed below)

​Then I set up the USB loader on my hard drive. I have also downloaded many other apps. then I attempted to install neogamma following the instructions below:



How to "install" NeoGamma to sd card for use in the Homebrew Channel:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Copy the "apps" folder to the root of your sd card, so you have an "apps" folder on sd card,
which includes a "NeoGamma" folder, which includes the boot.dol(the program), the icon.png(optional,
the icon that is displayed in HBC) and the meta.xml(optional, contains the info discplayed in HBC)

The rest is optional, but recommended as it will help with some games(for example New Super Mario Bros):

- Create a "NeoGamma" folder on root of the sd card if there's none
- Copy the gameconfig.txt, the .wip and .wdm files to the "NeoGamma" folder(NOT the one under apps!)
[gameconfig.txt is for Brawl+, .wip files are patches, .wdm files are for alt .dol disc+]
- the "sourcecode" folder is not required at all for end users

How old is your Wii? Does Neogamma give you an error? I don't think DVD+R's work with the Wii, at least not very well...Try some Verbatim DVD-R's. Your Wii also might be too new to play DVD backups meaning you'd have to stick with USB loading only.

If I remember rightly I got the wii as a present in 2009 around August. I will try other types of DVD's. It did give me an error saying 'DVD+R/bad burn/DL problem?'

Before you buy any DVD's if you could please enter your serial number into this site and tell me what it says I will be able to help further. It is a possibility that your Wii might not be able to play DVD backups. http://www.wiidrives.com/identify

It says:

Your drive most likely has the following chipset:​

Hmm...I don't really remember if that allows DVD backups to be played or not...another member of the Wii section will know, wait for their reply. That's why I never responded right away...I figured someone else would know the answer to this....heh, sorry.
