Ok so I jsut got a new graphics card because my old one burnt out. I had a geforce 7200 gt, so I upgraded to a galaxy geforce 8400 gs. Playing some different games and they look great, but im not getting the fps I would like to see. An example like in 007 QOS i get HORRIBLE fps like around 6-10 and even worse during explosions. Do I need to overclock and if so will this solve my problems? Oh and is 165 degrees too hot for a graphics card?

Overclocking helps, but don't expect it to do too much.
Is 165 in F or C?
If F, I don't know, but I know if its C, then thats wayyy to much
his gfx card would be in flames right now if that were the case

My friend has watercooled his NVidia - has two wc systems, one for cpu and one for gfx card - it made it so much faster! He has done no overclocking.

Something else worth getting (FOR FREE) - google Omega Drivers; these are unofficial drivers for the card that are a lot better than the official ones.
