Help With Jdownloader

Hi everyone. Well, i have the 0.9.059 version of the program, but i can't make it work. First, when im updating it, it fails ( don't know the reason), and when i put some rapidshare links, and press download, nothing happens.

Can anyone help me? ( i also wanted to know how to do the reconnect trick)
I'll be very gratefull if someone lend me a hand in this..
