Hardware HELP! wii won't turn on!

i took of the casing to fix my loose mod chip, i used an object to press the power button, but i must of missed as i think i shorted out something beside the button and smoke came out. i thinks it was the power LED. now the wii doesnt turn on!

please help!

If you saw smoke, you're probably fucked...especially if you shorted the main power against something that probably shouldn't of had a lot of power.

i dont know y but today i tried the wii again and,

ITS ALIVE!!!!!!!

i dont know what happened...the only thing is the RED led is dead...
