    I can't tell if you're joking or not. Are you sterotyping 12-14 year old girls? I'm pretty sure any girl past 8 wouldn't like those things even if their lives depended on it. Well, except Hannah Montana. She's a bit*h.

    @reym
    Go make a survey or something.

    puzzle game with cute characters. 12 and 14 are actually a huge mentality diff so you may not want to make it to cute and make the puzzles slowly increase in diff.

    Yeah, Hannah Montana and money (and themselves) and cell phones.

    Books? They probably like fashion magazines better...

    Just take a look at Nintendo. The most popular games with the broadest audience, were sim games, such as Nintendogs, Animal Crossing, and The Sims.

    Animals, dragons, unicorns, the colors pink & white, social interaction ... a la dating games & The Sims ... things that make them feel more of an adult, and less of an adolescent trainwreck ... stuff like that.

    Being un-serious here, if you wanna appeal to the chav population in the UK it would have to include ciggies, alcopops, underage sex and hanging around outside the co-op [IMG]

    It's true ... young girls like older guys.

    I'm a 36 year old guy, and I find it much easier to get a 21 year old girl, than a woman my own age [IMG]

    Being young-minded helps, though lol

    Immaturity FTW!

    To be honest, two girls in my class play this. And we're 18-20 years old, studying English Philology at the University >.> Truth be told, every person is a world. If you generalise and say, e.g., that every 12-to-14-year-old girl likes Harry Potter, the first one you meet dispises it. I'd go with Rayder's and Sinkhead's suggestions for "serious" games almost everyone can enjoy. Professor Layton is great if she has a "normal" attention span, Mario Party is great if she has friends with a DS... SEGA SuperStar Tennis, Animal Crossing, Pokémon DP, Cooking Mama, New Super Mario Bros... There are plenty of choises, just don't go with the easy way and give her a Petz title.
