Hacking [HELP] updating o3ds GW emunand from 10.1 to 10.3

I just updated the launcher.dat 3.5.1 on my sd card, but every time I try to update via system settings(in emunand) it says this:
An Error has occurred
unable to update.

The system will be restarted

Can any one help?

I heard letting the system sleep and download the update while in emunand fixes the error. PLEASE be sure you are on EMUNAND and not the regular nand when you go to update.

On O3DS, update the EmuNand is easy.
Use the latest launcher (3.5.1), go to System Settings IN EMUNAND, and if you have GW3D, just do a system update in settings

Make sure you are not blocking updates through your router or using tubehax dns.

Oh snap, I forgot to check the dns, I may have had that on from tubehax in the past.

Also I ended up using title manager and 3dnus to get and install the update, but I still can't go on th eshop, would tubehax dns block that too?

OK It was the dns, I restored my emunand to a point before the fake update using title manager, and updated the real way. but I still can't access the eshop while in GW mode. I get Error Code: 022-2634

any ideas?

Backup your emunand with emunand tool
Backup your Nintendo 3DS folder (or at least the folder corresponding to your emunand)
Format emunand in emunand system settings
In newly formatted emunand, go back to system settings, go in NNID settings, and re-link your NNID
Restore your emunand backup, and restore your Nintendo 3DS folder (so that you don't have to re-install any games you had, and don't lose save files you had)

Should work after that.
