OK,

Now I've NOT YET REBOOTED THE WII, so hopefully something can be done!

I previously did not install 3.3, but did install the fix to get the shop channel channel working (so the IOSes were not patched).

I've just re-installed the TP hack, and was in the process of downloading from 3.3E to 3.2E using "Any Region Changer"

But!

Once it had completed there was a scary red message at the top of the screen which said:

"Warning /!\ Area/Sysmenu MISMATCH /.\

What should I do now as the ARC Wikki page states:

Setting the AREA setting ("Console Area Setting") to a different region than your System Menu WILL cause a Semi-Brick! If for some reason your System-Configured flag is unset (via some installation, or a corrupted SYSCONF) your system WILL become FULLY BRICKED. Your system will attempt to do the "First Time" configuration for an incorrect region, and will not be able to find the html content for the interface.

As I have said ARC is still up on my screen showing this message at the top, I have NOT yet quit back to the Homebrew channel or Wii Menu.

I have Backup Launcher 0.3 Gamma installed, the homebrew channel and TP hack installed on the Wii.

I have not yet installed Starfall...this was next!

Cheers

Sorry for the double-post guys, but I wanted this bumped ASAP!

So, the shop channel hack has nothing to do with this error?

I'll put up what it said on the screen and if you still agree it's ok to continue I will!

CODELanguage: English
Console Area Setting: Europe
Game Region Setting: Europe
Country Video Mode: PAL
Country Code: 100 (checked this as ok)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
System Menu 3.2 InstallerÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ Installed RegionÂÂ .
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
System Menu RegionÂÂ < Europe >
Install System Menu 3.2

So with the message I quoted earlier shown on top, it's still ok to quit?

p.s. Sorry if this been asked before, but as I said I shit myself when I saw it and came on here for help right away lol

Right, ok so I re-booted and all is fine!

Just installed and tested starfall with Zelda TP along with Wad Manager.

Worked a treat!

I just felt after all the recent banner bricks that it was about time I got my finger out and got starfall installed.

Thanks again to my son who got a GC a few years ago for xmas and thus had a controller to give his old man lol

Sorry again for making this thread guys when this had been asked so many times before, but hey with a tested starfall installed at least you won't (hopefully) see any banner brick threads from me
