Hacking Help to get Monster Hunter Trii Working in GX Loader

Hey:

I have a 4.2U Wii with Wanin's Rev 17 and Hermes Rev 5.1.

I tried Monster Hunter Trii using both 249 and 222, and both times when I click to start the game it goes to a black screen and the Wii starts humming.

I am on Rev 938 of GX Loader.

Can someone please tell me how to get this game working?

Thanks - I actually just tried it with Hermes 223 and it worked..

I might updated to Wanin's Rev 20 though.....

Update - just tried to update to Rev 20 but am getting an error message. I am selecting to ios 249 load and 249 install....

Maybe you should install ios 36 into slot 236
and use ios 236 to install cios 249 with base 56

I assume you're on 17 cuz of TriiForce (or other NAND emu)? I am the same and what I did was install cIOSr17 which automatically installs to 249 and 250. Then I deleted 250 with DOPMii, and installed cIOSr20 to slot 250 with base 56. I've found that Hermes works, but r20 has been much better for me. Better performance and only two freezes with over 60 hours of playtime. I think the freezes might be my HDD or something because with Hermes my game froze around 5 times with ~20 hours of gameplay. Hope you figure it out, MHTrii is awesome
