I think that this link above should be removed/modified cause it seems like it's generated inside of affiliates program.

I've seen that site before (someone recommended it over my guide on yahoo answers

) and they have a decent setup guide.
But you have to pay for the rest and thats not good.

There is nothing to do about it though. We can't take it down on our own

Oh well...the customers will see the Scam-Screen on the Homebrewchannel anyways...(if he wasn't to clever and made it as an .wad. If he did, they'll see it during the next Online-Update). And if they don't get the money back, I'm shure they'll sue him (hey, it's America...

).

I don't think these dumb-asses can work out how to do that.

Lol. One part claims it could cost $750 to get a Wii with a mod chip. As if paying almost 30 dollars for free software is any better.

I notice he uses paypal as one payment option. I wonder if you could report it to them.

Ugh. Selling brew again. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if the "Setup Guide" PDF is a copy of a guide off this site.

I wonder how upgrade resistant and brick proof it is. There's no way to install bootmii as boot2 without hackmii installer, so they'll see a scam message at one point or another if he included bootmii.

TT should put a scam warning on the HOME menu of HBC. That way, distribution method won't matter.

I'd love to see a lawsuit against him...brew is supposed to be free. Period.

$100 on the fact that he will most likely have the following files in his "soft-mod files"

cIOS202[38+60]-v4.wad
cIOS222[38]-v4.wad
cIOS223[38+37]-v4.wad
cIOS249-v14.wad or cIOS249-v15.wad
cIOS250-v14.wad or cIOS250-v15.wad
IOS70-64-v6687[TB+ES_diV+NAND].wad

The sad thing is this fucker is a member of gbatemp. Otherwise he wouldn't have a true clue of how to do this stuff.

...because gbatemp is the only place where wii softmodding is discussed...

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
