Hi,

forgive the noob question, I used to have a GBA linker but I´m only recently converted to the beautiful Lite

So, I have the following setup for my Lite

- M3 -MiniSD upgdated with latest software

- Passcard3

- Sandisk 2gb miniSD

- V22a Game manager english version

I checked teh compatibility list on M3Wiki and tried a bunch of games (official scene dumps and some ninrenamed)
some games seem to work
i.e.
- Monkey Ball
- Metroid Pinball
- Advance Wars
- Nintendogs

Then the bad news:
This games load and give me a dreaded "can´t find save, please shutdown and remove" type of error (forgive the wording might not be 100% accurate)

Mario Kart (both U and EU)
Animal Crossing (U)
Rainbow Island (Eu)

...I flashed those using the GM V22a , with DMA 1x and 4x , no trim, Fast and Normal loads.

...what am I missing?
Any help would be appreciated, I did a fair bit of googling but didn´t find a solution.
Apologies if the problem has already been solved on the boards, then I missed it.

thanks!

Are you using Game Manager Properly? This is what I reccomend doing.

Copy all the games you want to play on to your SD card into a NDS folder or GBA folder depending on what type of game. Then in Game Manager navigate to the rom you want to use on the SD card (not your comptuer hard drive) chose Write NDS make your compatibility settings reccomended by the list then let it do its write thing. And you should now have a new folder on your root of the sd card called ndssave or gamesave if its gba game. The filename should match your filename of the game exactly except for the exteion being .dat Now try again, things should work better for you.

1. Make sure you are using clean dump
2. Make sure you have the folder "NDSSAVE" on your miniSD card
3. Just follow the patching info from the compatibility list you should be fine

By the way the latest GM is V22B which is much stable than V22A

Thanks for the replies and sorry for my late one, I was away

The problem was the V22a. I rolled bakc to V20 and everything worked - now I installed V22c and everything works too.

Great !
