I just wanted to know what are the advantages and inconvinients of having unlinked nands (o3ds)

Unlinked nands will help you keep your sysnand clear of everything. Also unlinked nands let you have two different versions of Cubic Ninja/Ocarina with different exploits installed.

Linked nands will let you play virtual console games from emunand. And... I think that's about it.
