    my wii wont turn on not even the standby red power light doesnt come on... i didnt drop it or nothing like that just went to turn it on and it was broken... so is this the power chord is my wii really broken...='(

    Whenever I see titles with "plz" in it, I assume the person is looking for spelling lessons.

    Unplug it and leave it for a day. Then plug it back in. If that doesn't work, get a new power cord. If it works, then your power cord was broken. If not, then your Wii's dead.

    ok thanks Gordinio ill try that and Hells Malice thanks for completely wasting my time... at failed attempt to be a smart ass... go annoy some one else cause i dont need your 2 cents..

    Unless you were fiddling around with it (hardware or software wise), I'm going with Bladex here. If you have a friend with a Wii ask him/her if you can borrow their power cord just to make sure it's the power cord. If that's the case you can probably buy a replacement for a few bucks. If it's not the case and your sure you didn't do anything to endanger your Wii, then I'd send it to Nintendo for repairs if you're under warranty. Odds are they'll just transfer your account info to a new Wii and send it out.

    I highly doubt that happened.
    This has happened to me many times and doing what Gordinio said fixed it.
