Hello all. I've been lurking a while, and today is the first I've had to register to ask for help.

I'm trying to install Coverfloader (or any) USB loader and having some difficulties.

I followed this guide..... http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showforum=190 and to be frank, I'm getting nowhere.

Background info:

I have a release day Pal Wii, hard modded with Wiinja Deluxe, nd currently on 3.4E firmware

Homebrew channel has been installed for the last few months (after having problems with 002 error). All fixed now.

Before starting on the USB installer, I downloaded HackMii, for BootMii and took a NAND dump.

Here's what I've tried since then.....

CIOS38
Revision 13 & 12:

Downloads and then....

Installing Cusom IOS, please wait....
>> Install ERROR! (ret = -2011)

Any Title Deleter (to delete IOS249):

Checking System Region....

Pulling Sysmenu TMD...Error! ISFS_Open (ret = -102)
Reading TMD failed!
Error! ES_OpenContent (ret = -1017)
Region Detection Failure! 0
Conf Region: 2

Then boots to the main menu

Select "System Titles"

There is no IOS49?

Last resort I tried to go to 3.2E....

Any Region Changer:

Downloads and then....

Cleaning up temporary IOS version 255
- Remove tickets....no tickets found!
-Removing title contents...
Error! ES_DeleteTitleContent (ret = -1017)
- Removing title...
Error! ES_DeleteTitle (ret = -1017)
Press any key to continueError! ES_OpenTitleContent (ret = -1026)

Any idea where I'm failing?

All help appreciated

You don't have any vulnerable IOS. Run Trucha Bug Restorer to Trucha-bug your IOS. Make sure to read the How To... thread in the hacking section and to read the readme that comes with it before running it. They may be 3 or 4 pages back...

After you successfully run TBR you should be able to install cIOS38 rev12/rev13a.

Downgrading is bad. Do not Downgrade unless you are willing to brick your Wii. At this point nothing should be keeping you on 3.4. Best way for you to avoid a brick is to update to 4.0 and stay there.
