It seems gx is the only one that reads my USB,so does anyone have any ideas why it shows all these gibberish files on my USB?Its stopping me from reaching my games

It is a USB stick,I got a different USB to try and it doesn't show any strange files,so I'm gonna put my games onto that to see if it works.Okay so I tried using USB loaded gx again,and it had my games file and the folder with my iso I'm it,and I set the games folder to the path,but no games load,what now?

Can you run any GC games with any other loader? Have you tried? Why are you so intent on just using GX?

If you at least try another loader you can then say yes or no to if you load any GC games at all.

Are you absolutely sure you have your games in the root of your USB in a folder called games and each iso is in its own individual folder and its named game.iso..... As long as you have your games set up like this then you should be able to load them perfectly. Have you tried using nintendont directly, as in loading it from the HBC? Do your games work that way?

Can you make a video of what happens? I think maybe you should start from scratch... Do you have another sd card/usb you could use? Or backup your current Nintendont and GX folders and try a clean install with the latest releases.

Here is whats in my meta.xml for Nintendont...

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" standalone="yes"?>
<app version="1">
<name>Nintendont</name>
<coder>crediar, JoostinOnline</coder>
<version>r223</version>
<release_date>20141122163114</release_date>
<short_description>Gamecube Loader</short_description>
<long_description>Nintendont allows you to run GameCube games on a Wii or Wii U from an SD device.</long_description>
<ahb_access/>
</app>

How does yours differ? Ignore the version number because ive updated since i copied the xml to my sd card

I can run games with no disc inserted. I have also found that setting the video mode to anything other than auto in my cfg usb loader settings causes a black screen!!

EDIT: I have a wode which autoboots its menu disc so i guess i do have a disc in my drive, although its a virtual one:)

I run nintendont on homebrew channel,and it loads,but it asks for a GameCube disk,and USB loader gx does not load my games but it does load my USB,and it shows the empty space left in it,there are paths you could set to use games,so the main GC path I set to USB 1 and in the games folder,and it never shows up.I'll record a video as soon as I can

Your problem right now is that Nintendont doesn't detect your games in your HDD/USB Stick, to work with nintendont your drive has to be formatted in FAT32 with at least 32kb of Cluster Size, plus to install GC games to your USB Drive you need DMTools in Windows to do the trick.

Well i use DMTools to "install" my GC isos to my HDD I I never had a problem. It puts the ISO in the right folder and create another one "Sys" with some files

I don't believe the sys is needed, I do not have it with any of my GC isos, I just used cleanrip to rip all my physical discs and just copy them in to the games folder using my pc, even the few I got elsewhere have no sys folder... I think it was something to do with Dios Mios.

Yeah maybe is for Dios Mios but anyway. It works for me and I got my little collection running perfectly in Nintendont
