    Hi all,

    I have a question.

How can I get an emulator (like frodo's C64 Emu) on my Wii?
Do I need the HomeBrew Channel?

I hope someone can help me... [IMG]

Please take 45 seconds and do a little research and read one of the numerous stickied threads in the hacking forums that detail how to install software on your wii.

    Short version:
    1. Banner Bomb to launch Hackmii installer
    2. Install at minimum the Homebrew Chanel.
    3. Put boot.dol for your program on the SD in /apps/"program name here"
    4. Launch SD card.

The only reason we know what we're doing is because we wanted to hack the Wii enough to take 30 mins to an hour to figure out the process. It isn't that hard and it is detailed in many places on the board. If it isn't worth 30 mins to an hour of your time to understand what you are doing to $250 hardware then you don't want to hack the Wii that much. Gaining an understanding of the process will help you stay out of trouble and hopefully prevent you from bricking your Wii. So please, do some reading and once you have an idea of what you need to do then please feel free to ask questions.
