Hi, I've a new 2ds xl which is split into top and bottom screen.
After months, I bought a replacement upper and lower lcd and a new housing shell, immediately replaced it when it arrived
But after finishing and try to boot it, I found the following problems:
1. Touchscreen is not working at all, there is no physical damage at digitizer and the flexibles are still intact, I have tried removing and reinstalling it but the result is the same. I even tried brushing each side with toothbrush several times, but it's still the same too
2. No sound comes out, from the speakers or through the 3.5mm jack. But when I try to listen closely, it sounds like static electricity with no signal (when I turn off my 2ds xl, I hear with headphone that there's sound of the power going off as if it's normal), but there is no sound at all. Maybe there is a small part that have functions as an audio processing part that is broken?
3. Everytime I boot it, my cursor immediately move crazily(it move like circle pattern), and when I hold one of the dpad arrow it'll stop, but going crazy again when I release it. At first I thought it was because of the circle pad or c stick, but after I removed it and left the dpad only, the same problem still happen. I've tried cleaning the inside of the metal conductivity dpad but the result is still the same (I see some kind of small round burnt marks behind the all metal conductor, I try to clean it but that's still there).
And I see the brass part under the metal conductor is still good without any burnt part like the cover.
Can I fix it by buying a replacement of these items or is it better for me to buy another motherboard and touch screen digitizer?
My 2ds xl still ofw
Sorry if this thread looks messy, this is my first thread.
