Hacking help - my rcmloader dongle isnt being recognised (pc) can't update payloads

ok i couldnt get ftp workong on my switch, so i went here and re downloaded the files https://www.sdsetup.com/ and placed on my sd root, now when i jig and enter my dongle, it does load up the menu, but brings up an error when trying to load the bootloader


so i figured perhaps the dongle files need updating, but i have tried connecting to my pc and mac via the mini usb but its not working? even tried directly via usb-c, the lights are showing on the dongle... but i can't access it as a drive

also where can i get the new payload files from?

Do you have the boot.dat on the Micro SD card?

big problem, the dongle is fine (i used a different usb cable)

i can jig and put in donglell
hekate loads up and its says its patching but it just goes black after the nintendo logo

not sure if i have the files correctly placed on the the sd card??? which folders/root

i dont have boot.dat on micro sd card - should this be on root?

You need the "boot.dat" for the dongle on the Micro SD card!

If you boot the Switch with button "+" and power,
Then the menu from the SX OS will appear.
There under option, you can then load the payloads,
If you have them on the Micro SD card (root).

i was using atmoshere hekate? i dont have sxos premium...

so the error now is ' no payloads or libraries found'

to piggyback your thread, I'm having issues too. I'm pretty sure device is in rmc as black screen but when plugged into pc or phone, after a few secs it shows the battery logo -top right - and then proceeds to boot switch. This is on 6.20. ANy ideas?
