Hacking HELP MiniVitaTV must use external controller? Can I use Vita controls instead?

Anybody here use the MiniVitaTV plugin? Does it only work with external controllers? Can we get it work with Vita controls? So basically your Vita as a PSTV but with the back touchpad as L2/R2, L3/R3? This would solve my Killzone Mercenary problem if it does.
