I know a website where they keep absolute all 3ds roms but it's illegal i can't tell you that here. The ones you can't find it sometimes they have it there.

What do you mean eShop doesn't work? That would be a huge problem for people who bought their games.

I never used eshop i heard people who tried to download games illegaly from eshop they said you cannot do this anymore. But i think you can still play the games you bought from Eshop. Freeshop is down. Are you assuming that cfw means piracy? I still buy games from eShop if they're worth it like Mario and Luigi SS DX or Pokemon USUM

Well your warranty no longer exist with CFW installed . I heard people still buy games from Eshop with cfw installed. I'm not an expert i don't know much. But yeah CFW is not legal obviously.

You can play online games and anything you would normally do on your regular 3ds. You can download any game you want it gives you freedom best thing . Nothing changes just console gets more power you can even overclock . And your console becomes more valuable. That's the only reason to have Cfw installed on your 3ds.

If you not very tech guy you can always get a shitty flashcart Sky3d plus or something. Then you will be able to play any game without converting into cia. Any 3ds format compatible there. But they are pricey not cheap. I used gateway 3ds flashcart in the past and it does the job kinda outdated now. Sky3ds plus better. But yeah Custom firmware is the king.

There's literally no reason to update to 11.7 over 11.8. You aren't safer by doing so, you won't bypass anything, and you are just adding a bricking risk by using sysUpdater.
Just update to the latest Luma3DS and update to 11.8 through the system settings.

It's been months since I've updated Luma. Is there any new stuff to it? I love using 8.1.1 I've added it to six 2dss and have not kept up to date.

CFW is legal. It just voids warranty.

There is not point. It would put your firmware to where it originally was. Either buy your games or find them somewhere else.

Check what is inside. If it is games, then yes, because you factory reset your 3DS and now they are all useless.
