anyways, from hbc i used cboot2 to uninstall cIOS 222, 223, 249, and 250

then used cboot2 to install cIOS 249 offline.

i feel a 4.2 guide coming soon..

@conj just put the files he gave on the sd card. thats it. then put it in ur wii and go to sd card menu

Dont I need a boot.elf for the Hackmii installer somewhere? And do I put the whole aad6a_v folder on the card or whats in it (ie the Private folder)

You need the boot.elf in the root of the card. You may as well go to the official bannerbomb site where there's a full walkthrough on what to do with everything.

monday i had a wii 3.4 with only HBC and bootmi 0.3 ... (no custom ios or cios)

Like a stupid boy i wanted to upgrade in official 4.1... and you all know now : 4.2 was there !!

So,

I 've just try the new Banner with Hackmii 0.5 boot.elf...
HBC install : perfect !
Bootmii on boot2 : perfect !
DVDX install : perfect !

BUT, now i can't launch wadmanager or channel files manager from HBC....

What i must do ?

Thats cool, i remembered just as I posted.

Anyways. Works perfectly on 4.2E softmodded, and 4.2E Virgin.

REQUIRED:


FILES:
Download this precompiled package.

Get my package of NUSD, it includes a file renamer.

then get cboot2.rar by emailing [email protected]


STEPS:
Run bannerbomb and install the Homebrew Channel, DVDX, and Bootmii as IOS and boot2 if possible.

Put the SD card back in your PC , and backup the Bootmii folder from your SD card root to your PC.

Drop the Bootmii folder, boot.dol, and startup.elf from the "try this 1st" folder onto your SD card root.

Start the Homebrew Channel and press home to launch Bootmii.

The screen should trip out briefly then WAD Manager should start

Are you using the most recent version of the HackMii Installer? (version 0.5)

Yep I am indeed it says if using the latest installer "suck it" not really helpfull...............
