So, my Calculus class is a gong show, and my teacher realizes this, so he assigned us to do a YouTube video as a final project. He wants us to create a Calculus song, and we can rework current songs. I chose Never Gonna Give You Up, so help me write some Calculus lyrics and come up with video ideas.

    Lyrics I have so far:

    We're no strangers to Calc
You know the chain rule, and so do I
    A full derivative's what I'm thinking of
You wouldn't get this without using dx/dy

I just wanna tell you what I'm graphing
    Gotta show you this asymptote

Am i gonna add it up
    Am i gonna write down
I'll never get it with out my cpu
I'm gonna have to check with sin
    And double check co-sin
To find answer "What is X's value?"

We know some graphs have / max values
What are the rules for / finding out these points?
Differentiate and / set to zero
Find F at endpoints / and pick the largest

And if you don't know how to graph it
Put it in Y1 and you'll see

Thats all I have so far. And for the video idea, mostly just a calculator pretending to be Rick Astley, with the lyrics typed on the sceen sometimes. Then a calculator doing a slow motion backflip. Please help as these are obviously terrible ideas!

Thanks to WildWon for the chorus!

So, the lyrics are pretty much done, so help me think of some ideas. I'm going to show the lyrics and maybe some dancing calculators with Mr. Potato Head feet and stuff, show some graphs being graphed, stuff in the like

I would use the song Weird Al yankovich: White and Nerdy (so funny and would probably match the lyrics better

Lol, like half the lyrics don't fit in with the song (too much or too little syllables)

Can't wait to see the result tho [IMG]
