Hardware help me please! how do I get sub titles to work in wiimc!

I have the newest version and looked everywhere. I have a srv file with all my movies in a folder and it said press up and nothing happens! I go into sub titles and it is enabled! I even tried naming the sub title the same as the film! it won't work why!

Change the extension like tueidj said. If that doesn't fix it, you could try MPlayerCE, although I doubt that would work since WiiMC is based off of it.
