Help me fix my headset

My headset had some weird background noise, so i was trying to open them to check for any bad wiring, by miss fortune i hit one of the little components, now it doesnt work at all, but its detectzble by pc , at first i thought it was a resistor, so i short circuit it, didnt work, can anyone help me identify it ? maybe help me fix it, any advice is helpful.

No expert but the 105 is a resistor and the other little components without numbers look like capacitors.

Should specific the brand and model of the headset.

Given the writing R1 and C2 beside it and with R1 still looking to be intact I'd assume it was a capacitor. Also I'm not sure but I don't see a 105 I see a 103 with what appears to be a bridged component below it. If the component was a resistor, it's probably not a good idea to bridge it, it's there to limit the current for a reason and could possibly end up frying the component the path is leading to.

That also looks like a damaged trace to me, possibly having taken out a ground path (not sure about layers below as there is also a chunk missing there) from that array of brown band devices and that can cause all sorts of fun.

Yeah of course, but since its a small issue, I thought I'll just fix it, gift it to my cousins, or something, get a new one.

I have a friend who has the same headset, I'll just ask him to open it, and send me a pic !!
