Hacking Help in getting 1.1 for my pokemon sun

I have a us old 3ds and a jp new 3ds.

When i play the pokemon sun (us), i use the region free launcher.

Everything works fine until the 1.1 fix came up. I tried many methods but still don't know how to update my game. So. All the internet connection required feature are not working now. Any advice?

Are you using the cart with basic homebrew (no CFW)? You should be able to get the update from the eShop as the main series Pokemon games are region-free.

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
