Hardware Help! I was upgrading my Rebug HDD and Im stuck on 100% Rebuilding data on hard disk.

I followed this tutorial, used the Debug for HDD Exchange Utility, swapped the HDD's, everything was fine, booted up to REBUG, and it was supposed to rebuild the data, after that it should have been well and good... but now its stuck on 100 for 1 hour now.....

I dont know what to do.

ooh. Have you tried using the OG HDD again?

hmm, stop it and try using the original hdd. (also, in the meantime, try to check if the hdd works with something like a computer using a SATA (or whatever connection type the drive uses) to USB adapter. (If you have one))

that worked ( putting the old hdd back in ). i dont know what happened.. i tried to put in a 2TB 7mm seagate in there...

do hdds need to be a certain format before installing? or 2tb cant be installed?

over 1.5 may not work. it's a software limitation. it will get stuck in a loop like that.

So I tried again using a 1TB ( I got greedy going for 2TB) it finally worked and I have over 700 GB of free space......for now
