Homebrew HELP! I need to get back into my Homebrew!

You needed to update your payload to 10.3, this would have been updated BEFORE you updated the system. As for where it goes? Not sure, with OOT it is with the save file itself. Maybe you could locate your ironfall save on the sd and replace the payload that way? I am not entirely sure to be honest.

Oh, come on. That isn't necessary. It was an accident.

It wasn't meant to be mean, it's a fact. I've done the exact same stupid things by not reading enough before I executed, i.e. bought a N3DS and QQ3DS before reading enough to learn I would have been better off buying a 9.0-9.2 N3DS from ebay. That was dumb but happened because I didn't educate myself first.

Bummer that Ninja, or Ocarina are probably your only options, unless you are lucky enough to be able to drop the payload(ropbin renamed to correct filename for ironhax) on the SD card.

did you try putting ropbin renamed to menuhax_ropbinpayload.bin in the root of your sd card? That's of course assuming that the ironhax 2.5 actually made it into your savegame.

I think I have a person who'll let me borrow Ocarina! Just wondering...doing this OoT hack won't permanently alter the game cartridge, right?

the oot hack will delete all saves on the game, and requires either a save-extraction device or a 3DS with homebrew access.
after using it to re-install the ironhax payload you can wipe the saves to erase all traces of the hack from the card.

and this "robpin" you keep talking about is not for any of smealum's hacks, it's to make other hacks compatible with homebrew launcher.
to update ironhax you need to run the ironhax installer and select the new firmware's version, the robpin and hack data are automatically downloaded from the internet onto your save.

Your only option is Cubic Ninja. Oot3D requires you to have the Homebrew Launcher running to install Oot3DHax which you don't have. BrowseHax and TubeHax no longer works and it seems you don't have MenuHax.

Also, you don't need the "ropbin", you need the "otherapp" payload but simply re-running the IronHax installer will automatically download the "otherapp" payload and inject it into your game anyways.

No. It's a semi permanent save alter. As far as I know there are two saves on there and you can choose the one want to alter.

using the D-pad you can change the firmware version it checks for.
the installer was made for 10.1, so that's what it will show by default.

I used a save injection from a friend and it allowed me to keep the save.

If I use someone else's cartridge then, will their saves show up on my 3DS? Or can I mess with it without worrying about the other DS's saves?
