Help, I can't access any online services on my 2DS???

So... I just tried to access online services and it just showed an error??

Error code 002-0121

"This device's access to online services has been restricted by Nintendo."

I think i got banned, help me please...

I don't want to think my Wii U got banned either... it may be likely

Fixed! In and all good now with E-shop and MiiVerse.

For anyone that has the 002-0121/022-2542 error, unfortunately you will have to reformat either thru system format or tinyformat. Afterwards, will need to reinject cia via through hs to reinstall cia, hbl, luma updater, etc. sure.. Lost my installed games, but having the cias on hand to re-install is worth it. Plus all the files on the sd card remains, so it's just a matter of reinstalling the missing apps/games.

Might be still possible that your system is banned. another fix is also in this quoted forum

Uhm. reformatting a console thats got a possible lfcs ban is not ever going to fix things. Will just make it all worse. They would need to find a lfcs from somewhere and inject it to unban from that case.

Rosalina menu kind of got my console banned...
Plus, I wasn't even on an eShop app... i was on a homebrew app and still got banned.

who knows. and i really dont care. All I know is rosalina will not ban you. You are likely holding back something you think is embarrassing or that people will judge you for. Which only hinders being able to help with the issue.

You could have been on a list or the person before you got you on the list.
You may have even had your OG seed taken, copied to another console, etc, and they got banned with that.

Pretty much, years ago, we (humans) burned through a lot of seeds and now its a shit show.

Unless you can prove to Nintendo you had absolutely nothing to do with the ban (you admitted to having access to HB), you're going to have to get a new system.
Luckily, you can copy the new unbanned seed; just don't go online at the same time (like trying to play Sm4sh double battle) with the new seed.

It has nothing to do with Rosalina menu, there must be something else you did to get banned.

Fixing a 3DS ban is pretty easy, as I recall you just have to get a new friend seed or whatever and replace it. Not sure how easy those are to find anymore without those old iso sites, but I imagine you can still find someone out there that can help with such an unban.
