Hacking [HELP] How do I use wupserver to change the file permissions of slccmpt01?

I bricked my vWii a few weeks ago. I created a nand backup of vWii before I bricked. I extracted the contents of nand.bin and replaced all of the files in the slccmpt01 directory using ftpiiu everywhere. However, I need to change the file permissions of slccmpt01 using wupserver. I'm very bad at python so could someone please give me a step-by-step tutorial on how to use wupserver? Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: I used Python 2.7 to open wupclient.py in interactive (-i) mode. However, I am getting this error:
