Help having to fight of an army of popups

hi i need help ive go a bad investation of popups

every time i boot windows(xp) i get loads of pops come up.
heres the sites that come up:

• partycasino.com[*]adultfriendfinder[*]sexintheuk[*]adultworld[*]888.com[*]pacificpoker

and heres the programs ive using to get rid of them

• avg[*]adware[*]spybot search and destroy[*]spyware doctor

a second computer of mine running vista has just started coming up with all this crap

Get Malwarebytes AntiMalware, it's free and VERY good.

Install, update, do a complete scan.

Should sort you out.

I think you should do a full wipe, put AVG and Windows Defender on, use Firefox or Opera and stop browsing so much funny content.

I'm running Vista 64, AVG and Windows Defender only and don't do regular scans. My browser is Opera.

So far I have had zero problems. *knocks on wood*

It's much less of a headache to backup everything important and do a full reinstall of windows, of course that's if you know how to do that.

And in the future stay away from those funny, funny websites. And yeah, use Firefox.

Setup an account. install it on your router. Make sure you download this if you have dynamic IP (DSL service) **You can also use Tomato (router firmware) to update you IP with openDNS. **

Do this. can either do the router way (need 3rd party firmware) or select comps.

Edit: no guarantee this will fix your problem. I've been using that set up for years now and haven't had any kind of mass pop up/adware/spyware. I should also mention I have no Antivirus crap program. I use Spyware blaster, Spybot S&D and Hijackthis to make sure my system is clean.

*clarity I've been using everything listed above for years except the Tomato router firmware. just recently installed that
