I have a hacked Wii with both WiiFlow and GX USB Loader on it. I play the games off of a usb hard drive. Most of all of the 200 plus games I have backed up play just fine but I cannot get my rock band instruments to show up so we can play those games. Any advice would be great and step by step would be wonderful as I am relatively new at this all!! Thank you.

What cios are you using?

You may find that your instruments work with Hermes cios 222
Yes and no. cIOS 222 is sorta like a container: it contains the code you tell it to contain when you install it.

Basically, for music games, you need a cIOS that's based on IOS37. That can be either one of the following:

-cIOS222 or 223 v4, installed as a merge of 38 and 37 (can't play DLC).
-cIOS223 or 224 v5, installed with a base of 37. (note: CFG gets kinda flakey with music games with this one)
-Waninkoko's rev19 with a base IOS of 37 (my personal favorite, as it allows DLC to be played AND works fine with CFG).

(this may look confusing if you're new to this, but it's not that hard. You'll come accross these options when you install the cIOS. Once installed, you don't have to worry about it anymore)
