I've upgraded my n3dsxl sd card from 64gb to 128gb now my games are nowhere to be found. I can access luma settings (9.0) and gmode9. But the games wont load on the home screen. I've copied the contents from the 64gb to the 128gb. But still no luck. Help!

backup content in 128MB micro sdcard, format using PanasonicSDFormatter (or similar tool except M$) to FAT32 format, then copy back content and retry.

Still does not work. I've reformatted many times now. But still my games are not showing. Is there any way I can still save my Save files on my old sd card?

Have you formatted the console at all since you got the new memory card?
No, I have not formatted my n3dsxl. When I first got the 128gb micro sd. I just copied the files from my old 64gb to my computer and then copied all the contents back to my 128gb. The weird part is my old 64gb has become write protected and I cant put any files on it. Its been a while since I've used my n3dsxl. Huhu. Right now I just want retrieve my save files if possible :(

Make an image from your 64gb with win32diskimager after that write that image to your 128gb card.
Your 128gb will show up as 64gb, open easus partition master and allocate the freespace to your partition and voila you have all of your games and 64gb free space.

You can only install 300 apps/games in 3DS. I think you installed over the limits.

Nope.

I just want to update you all. I've tried all the options you have given me guys and still the issue persists. But the good thing is I saw that I've backed up my save game files using JK Save manager ( i know its too old ) Now my question is, would it be alright if I just format my n3dsxl and start the cfw hack from scratch?

  1. Copy everything off the 128 GB SD card onto a computer.
  2. Reformat the SD card with MiniTool Partition Wizard (free edition) with these settings:
    • Format: FAT32
    • Cluster Size: 32 KB *
    • Partition: Primary
    • Disk: MBR
MiniTool Partition Wizard Software Tutorial Guide
    1. Delete Partition
    2. Initialize to MBR Disk -or- Convert GPT to MBR Disk (if it's in GPT Disk)
    3. Rebuild MBR
    4. Create a New Partition [ Create as: Primary | File System: FAT32 | Cluster Size: 32 KB * ]
    * Since your supposed card is 128 GB, you may elect to instead use 64 KB cluster size.
  3. Full Write + Verify the empty card in H2testw. Do not skip this step.
Report back the scan result of your card's hardware status.
