I just got a second hand Nintendo DS, its metallic pink or something.
So, it works and all, the only problem is that, since it came with a Sonic game, when turned on, even with the slightest touch in the upper screen, the console turns off.
Of course, it must be the screen membrane.
But I've had troubles with other DS's in the past, and I don't have ANY luck when repairing them. Just so you know, once I JUST wanted to clean the L and R triggers, so I opened the DS, took out the dust, and it didn't turned on ... never again.
So, how can I fix it? Is it simple? Or do I need to replace the screen?
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately the only way to fix this is to replace the top lcd as it is the flex cable shorting out causing it to shut down.
Done loads of them back in the day not the nicest job to do

Oh god.... I'm in a dilemma here...
Say, do you think it could (in any way) destroy the whole thing?
I mean, since it causes electrical shorting, do you think it could damage the whole console?
