Misc Help Fix my Wii, Slot is Buldging!

I tried to mod my wii and when i installed it I got points 4,5 and 6 bridged. then I got the Disc read error and it wouldn't eject the disc. So i opened up my wii and pried the disc open. (No i did not damage it by removing the disc) The front slot is bulging slightly, due to screwing with the gears? Does anyone know how i can reset them...? I've heard about a fuse that could be fixed by connect the front and back of it. I really just want my wii back to normal for when brawl comes out. any suggestions?
