Hacking help: fbi refuses to even let me install cia.

the file is a .3ds and the options fbi gives me is delete, rename, copy and paste. can someone help? thanks.

you should elaborate. and not be so vague...

a .3ds file is a homebrew to be used with the homebrew channel (IIRC)
to install a program trough FBI you need the .cia version of said program. keep in mind you can't just rename a .3ds file into a .cia...

.3dsx is homebrew.
.3ds is ripped image of said game (like .iso or .xci).
.cia is installable of said game (like .exe or .nsp).

ho right i forgot about this... its been a while i don't deal with stuff about the 3ds

yeah, a 3ds is a rom image from a cartridge, its to be used with a 3DS flashcart
if you are attempting to install a game, i dont remember if you can convert that 3ds into a installable cia trough a program, you might want to search for installable cias to make it easier (should be in the same place you get the games from)
