when i open homebrew and click something it just resets and goes from like red to green and goes back to the same page

is it all homebrew or just fbi? try injecting the homebrew menu via the rosalina combo and trying that way maybe

at this point I would follow this guide from this point https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup
that should set you up to install cia files, install luma to ctrnand, and a bunch of other useful things for you
the rosalina combo is "L,Down,Select" but it'll go over that for you if it's needed
