Help! Disc stuck in a Dell studio hybrid and os is vista

    today, my brothers laptop like died, so we got my old vista, and theres a Disc stuck in the disc drive, and the fucking button wont eject it, Man i hate those pcs, the fucking button is so stupid.
    [​IMG] except its black.
    anybody got any ideas?
    Also, we need the drive because i forgot my password that i had.
    and we cant get the system restore disc in because of that stupid ass button
    Holding down the "Invisible" eject button does not work either.

    any help? Please?

    open it , then remove disc drive and switch it ?

    I'm confused by those pictures. You said it's a laptop, but those pictures are definitely not a laptop.

    Reading up on this, there's a media test that you can run at the beginning by pressing f12 that will release the DVD. Another method is to go allow it to go into Windows (safe mode or otherwise) and do an eject through My Computer. Lastly, you could find the service manual and read the directions on removing the drive bay. Once the drive is out, you can open the top and remove the media.

    it aint a laptop. it a dell hybrid.

    the Lap top my brother has is messed up, so i trying to get him the hybrid.
    but now the computer is dead. it came up on the monitor saying
    No boot device found.

    sooooooooo lock.

    We got it to work now, we opened it up again and we got out the disc. it was Photo explosion disc one. XD
    we puoshed back anything that was misplaced. it started up, and it wouldnt take ANy discs. Oh well. Whoop dee fucking doo.
    Computer died. Peace yall

    "No boot device found" usually means the HDD is having problems (usually failed). The rest of the computer should be working.
