I don't think the nand restore will have any effect on your mset rop. Use gateway's restore as it's tested and stable code. Press up on the downgrade icon while having the (correct) NAND.bin backup on your big sd card's root.

I did hv a Sysnand backup made using GW. Can i restore it using other tools like decrypt9 or emunand9 i already have? Otherwise i have to get the GW app elsewhere.

You can use d9 or e9 if you want.

thanks, but why are there sayings that restoring to sysnand requires a hard mod or sth? Could it be that hard mod is needed only if backup is not at 9.2 and destination sysnand is also not 9.2 ? Sorry if this is a noob question.
