I managed to extract my OTP.
(did it 3 times and verified that md5 is correct)
Reflash my 9.0 sysnand correctly.

Booted into homebrew menu.
Ran arm9loaderhax installer.
(used an online compiler, verified the sha256 on my PC and server side.)
Installer seemed to run fine.
I saw something about firm0 and firm1.

Next thing, 3ds rebooted (maybe?) and I get the blue screen.

Error code :
BOOTROM 8046
ERRCODE: 00F800FF
CFCFFFFF FFFFFFFF
00000000 00000000

I got a hardmod done (following guide from psxtools.de)

The 3ds gets detected as an mmccard in windows.

Everytime I try to use win32imagewriter, I get error 5: unable to lock volume.

Help. I've tried using different laptop card readers and even a USB one.

Pls help.

Edit : I've made sure the write lock of the SD card is unlocked and for safe measure, I've even put tape on it.

Edit2: I've tried using Linux and DD command
When I use lsblk,
I see 3 drives mmcblk0, mmcblk0boot0 and mmcblk0boot1.

When I use dd to write I get:

dd: writing to '/dev/mmcblk0': Input/output error
1+0 records in
0+0 records out
0 bytes (0 B) copied, 10.4006 s, 0.0 kB/s

I have the same problem as you. You need a raspberry pi because the nand partition is locked ( not your sd adapter ) and the raspberry can unlock this. The big problem is you need a OLD model of this thing and it is complicate to find a cheap raspi.
