Hacking Help and idiot - backup saves

Can anyone let me know if a) this is possible and b) possibly how to go about it.
I have a combination of DS flash cards (A supercard SD (slot2) and a R4DS (slot1))
What I wand to know is, using a combination of these two is it possible to backup my save from and original DS cart, then use this save on my R4DS cart?

Yup, it's possible. You could use Reinmoon if you wanted to, using the video tutorial at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3J8vXJNSpw

Other tools you can use include EEPINATOR, SavSender, and Rudolph's new tools that can dump games and dump/restore save files to slot-2 devices (and also to your computer via Wifi).
