Alright, so I've been trying to get this thing working for a week to no avail. After reading dozens of topics looking for a solution and finding none that worked for me, I've decided to ask for help directly.

Recently decided to try softmodding my Wii. I'm a complete noob when it comes to this stuff so I used guides to do the modding. First I used SimplisticMod's guide and installed everything with no errors, tried three different backup discs in NeoGamma and got Disc_ID errors (1208), then tried using a WBFS external hard drive and two thumb drives in NeoGamma and USBLoader GX and both didn't detect the hard drive. So I decided to start over the softmodding part and used the WeHackWii package this time and got the same results of not reading discs or usb drives. So I decided to start over again and use ModMii this time (I've actually gone through the ModMii installation steps twice at this point). Followed the procedure to a t, and got no errors. However, the Wii still won't read any of my usb drives.

I've tried two different external drives (one of which is on the compatibility list) and two different thumb drives. Tried using USBLoader GX (no usb device detected), Configurable USB Loader (usb device not responding and then error [ret = -1] after 90 seconds), uLoader (says no usb device plugged in) , and NeoGamma (also not detected). Tried using both usb ports (drives draw power from both so I don't think it's a bad port). Tried Waninkoko cios249 and Hermes ios224. Tried formatting drives as WBFS and FAT32. Getting nothing.

I'm just not sure where to go from here and would love and much appreciate any suggestions from the knowledgeable people here.

    Thanks.

Heres my sysCheck cause I've seen others post it:
