Hacking Help a first timer =(

Hi, when i bought my g6 real, it came with everything installed(GM Manager v2.0, moonshell, etc.). But now, since the new installation of 4.8A has come out, I tried to follow the instructions on updating it but for some reason it just wont work. I copied both "g6vervify.sys" and "g6loader.sys" files into the root directory of the G6 U-Disk drive. And after loading it nothing happens. Yes, it says taht i need to load it in GBA (slot 2) mode but whenever I do, that "green text" taht is suppose to be there comes out. Instead, it just loads like it would on a normal GBA but since there is no game its just stuck on the "Game Boy" scree. I'm stuck and I really want to add the new features onto my g6 real. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks in advanced.

Am i suppose to take out the other g6 ds loader files first?
