ok so we eagerly opened the box, went to

and that's where trouble began, what is a kernel? I know it aint the Chicken variety!!
I'm told I can just drag and drop to Micro SD via a reader, but this seems so much more complicated than that.

On the left of the page it says about

After downloading and decompressing the new updated files,
there will be one moonshl folder and two files
_DS_MENU.DAT, _DS_MSHL.NDS.
Copy these files to the root directory of TF card to replace the former files

after trying the drag drop theory the DS say can't find _DS_MENU.DAT

and I'm stuck, please help, but make it divy proof, I'm really not good with . this //that!?!?!?!?

from what I can see my micro SD is blank, so I can't replace former file, see I told you I'm proper dim with this sort of stuff!

Go and here and download the latest version:

Pop in your MicroSD card into the card reader and place it in your USB drive. After that, uncompress the zip file you downloaded from the R4DS site, there should be a folder called English in it (Or whatever language you downloaded), now open that file and simply copy and paste -everything- in that folder to the root of your MicroSD card. By root, it means the main drive/directory of the card so like X:/

After wards, it should work, create a folder called Games or such and drag and drop the games you want onto it and so on.
