Well I've just managed to bake myself a fresh one, thank goodness my NAND is backed up in my sdcard but can't trust myself to hardmod.

You might be waiting at least 2 years before anything releases for the Switch hax wise. It will likely be a flashcart or something.

That's awesome.

I think the scene will start with flashcarts again. Only time will tell. I'm guessing the first flashcart ala sky3ds will launch in 2019.

No. They both use arm architecture, but anything beyond that is a rumor at this point.

Some people have put forth the idea that the NS fw might be based on the 3ds - mainly because Nintendo's strange move to offer bounty for 3ds bugs (especially so late in its lifecycle).

Only time will tell the truth.
